MATER-BI, PLA, BAGASSE and CELLULOSE PULP

In a world where disposable items have become an essential part of everyday life, Minimo Impatto aims to reduce the impact of disposable waste by offering biodegradable and compostable items made from natural and not petrochemical derivatives.  Our Disposable Tableware Supplies are made from plant-derived cellulose pulp, sugar cane fiber based Bagasse, as well as corn starch based PLA and “Mater-Bi”, biopolymers with the same strength and reliability as traditional plastics.

We distribute forks, knives, spoons, tea spoons, napkins, and coffee sticks, all made of MaterBi – the items can be purchased individually or in sets (our BIS package includes fork+knife+paper napkin, while our TRIS package includes fork+knife+spoon+paper napkin).  Note that the set wrappings are also made of MaterBi.

We also offer different sizes of bowls, plates, and cups made from PLA and cellulose pulp, as well as Mater-Bi shopping bags, rubbish bags and waste bins for compostable garbage.

Our Disposable Tableware Supplies can be used in fast-food outlets, café’s, food stalls and displays, at special events, exhibitions, business meetings, wedding ceremonies, picnics, for in-flight meals, etc.  Following usage the products can be combined with food leftovers and then disposed of either in a food waste composting machine or a nearby composting facility. Then nature simply does its work!
